Savannah's big St. Patrick's Day parade is March 17, but some youngsters are already getting started.
Wilmington Island preschoolers held their own St. Patrick's Day parade on Friday. They were joined by Savannah's Grand Marshal Dave Roberts. The children paraded down Cromwell Road to May Howard Elementary.
Some walked and others rode on floats and wagons. Many family members and friends cheered them on along the way.
"It's lot of fun. It is great that the grand marshal comes and supports it. The kids just love being in a parade even though there is not much to it. The weather was a little cold, but they got out their jackets and marched," said Ashley Cetti, a parent.
