Global Women's Summit held to empower and improve women

Posted: Updated:
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

At the Global Women's Summit, women got the chance to share topics they are passionate about.

The summit is a two-day event designed to help women empower themselves. The month of March is set aside for the celebration of women, and Saturday is international celebration of women.

The event hopes to give women the tools, strategies, and tips they need to empower their lives, to improve their businesses, health, and wealth.

The event director for the Global Women's Summit, Sharon Frame, former CNN anchor, author and speaker, says the event was a huge success.

"We are celebrating Savannah women who have made huge differences. In particular, we are celebrating the female firefighters as part of our awards celebration. So, we are really excited to be in Savannah where women are rocking," said Frame.

Organizers hope to bring the summit back to Savannah next year.
