SC holds Driver Suspension Eligibility Week

Posted: Updated:
COLUMBIA, SC (WTOC) -

Drivers in South Carolina who have had their license suspended can apply to reduce or clear the remaining time for the suspension until March 14.

The process can take as little as 15 minutes.

Once a year, the South Carolina Dept. of Motor Vehicles invites suspended drivers to take part in its 2014 Driver Suspension Eligibility Week.

To apply for the program, drivers must fill out the 2014 Driver Suspension Eligibility Week Application form, go to a DMV office from March 10 to 14. Drivers with a clear record may apply for a driver's license, according to the DMV website. Drivers may be required to take the vision, knowledge and road skills tests before getting a new driver's license, depending on the type of suspension.

For more details see the South Carolina Dept. of Motor Vehicles website.
