LONG CO., GA (WTOC) -

A fire destroyed an unoccupied mobile home Thursday in the 400 block of Dena Circle in Long County outside the city limits of Ludowici.

Ludowici/Long County Fire Chief Richard Truman said the mobile homes which were beside each other were unoccupied and the state fire marshal is being called in to investigate.  No one was injured.

The owner of the homes said they were being used mainly for storage and a family recreation unit according to Amy King who owned the mobile homes. There had been reports of an explosion coming from one of the mobile homes, Truman said the explosions were the result of oxygen tanks exploding.
