BCSO: Cocaine, cash found in car during traffic stop

BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -

Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression Team served conducted surveillance on a suspected drug dealer, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.

CST investigators stopped Kelvin Antwone Anderson, 36, of Claxton, after he was believed to have sold cocaine to another male. Anderson was trying to leave the Statesboro Mall at the time of the traffic stop, and during this stop, a sizeable amount of cocaine and an estimated $600 in cash was located, according to the BCSO.

Anderson was placed under arrest and charged with the sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. Anderson's vehicle was impounded to await forfeiture procedures and he was transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
