SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Chatham Emergency Management Agency is on standby during the St. Patrick's Day festivities in the event of a disaster.

CEMA activated two separate Emergency Operations Centers on Friday morning. Those centers will provide extra resources for the city of Savannah's first responders and officials who oversee the four-day festival.

The Chatham County Annex will serve as CEMA's primary command post, which will house the phone operations center and general staff.  CEMA will also have its Mobile Emergency Operation Center on West River Streetto observe, collect data and be ready to react to an incident in a moment's notice.

An EOC is a strategic part of this weekend's preparedness and management plan and will be staffed around the clock.
