HOUMA, LA (WVUE) - Houma Police and firefighters are investigating a house fire that killed two children early Saturday morning.
Police received a call that someone was still inside a house at 530 Hobson Street that caught fire around 1:30 a.m.
According to police, the victims were found dead inside of the house after officers and the Houma Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the flames.
The identities of the one-year-old and two-year-old victims have not yet been released.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
