Adjutants enjoy breakfast tradition

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The people who work hard to put on the Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade enjoyed a hearty breakfast early Monday morning at the Mansion on Forysth.

The adjutants organize the participants in the parade and make sure the event runs on time. Each year, they get together for the adjutant's breakfast.

"Rain or shine, it doesn't matter. We are like the postman. We are going to be out there doing our job," said Patrick Burke, a parade adjutant.

It's a tradition that celebrates the year's worth of work they put in to organizing the parade.
