The Georgia General Assembly is in its next to last day of the annual session and key bills still hang in the balance.
One, allowing medical marijuana in Georgia, has been reshaped considerably throughout the process.
In an exclusive conversation with WTOC, Gov. Nathan Deal said it's premature to discuss the specific legislation, since it may change again, but in principle.
"I understand the concerns of parents whio think that this may be something that would help their children and I think all of us have a big heart to want to do whatever is possible to alleviate suffering in children," said Deal.
