Three arrested after physical altercation in Walmart parking lot

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

Three people were arrested Wednesday after Beaufort Police officers were notified of a disturbance in the Walmart parking lot at approximately 10:33 a.m.

The first officer on scene made contact and observed a physical altercation with the involved parties. The officer noticed a Beaufort County Sheriff's deputy with his weapon drawn toward the suspects and drew his own service weapon.

He then assisted in subduing the suspects. One individual was subdued with a Taser after failing to comply with the officer's commands.

 

Brooks Dawdry was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence and public disorderly conduct, Richard Frazier was charged with providing false information to police and Brandy Powell was arrested and charged with criminal domestic violence and possession of a scheduled IV narcotic.
