2 women arrested for passing fake $20 bills

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -

Two women were arrested Thursday for allegedly passing counterfeit $20 bills at Brunswick businesses.

Casaundra Brock, 21, from Screven and 26-year-old Ashleigh Oliver of Jesup have each been charged with eight counts of forgery.

Twenty-two additional charges for each suspect are expected.

City police are working with other law enforcement officers in Jesup, Waycross, Pierce County, Hinesville, Darien and Glynn County where Brock and Oliver are also suspected of using the bills.

The women are accused of using the fake bills at Old Navy and T.J. Maxx stores in Brunswick beginning in February.
