Statesboro-Bulloch CST arrest nine on drug charges

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

The Statesboro-Bulloch Crime Suppression team executed a number of search warrants on Thursday, March 27 and as a result, nine people were arrested on drug related charges.

CST members executed a search warrant at an apartment in The Grove Apartments in Statesboro after receiving word of marijuana and prescription pills being sold from that location.

Jamaal Mcclerin, 22, was arrested and charged with two counts of sale of marijuana, one count of sale of a schedule IV drug, one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and one count of giving false information to law enforcement.

David Banks, 19, was also charged with one count of sale of marijuana and one count of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Both were booked into the Bulloch County Jail.

Later that day, CST members executed a search warrant at a Thomkin Drive residence in Statesboro based on drug sales from that home.

Jared Bamberg, 21, was arrested and charged with one count of sale of marijuana and was booked into the Bulloch County Jail.

CST members then executed a search warrant at a mobile home on Eagle Trace MHP based on the sale of marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine from the residence.

Dexter Adams, 27, was arrested and charged with two counts of sale of methamphetamines, two counts of sale of marijuana, one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession/use of a drug related object.

Christopher Adams, 31, and Daniel Mikell, 23, were arrested for possession/use of a drug related object. Mikell was also wanted for probation violation.

All suspects were transported to the Bulloch County Jail.

Lastly, CST members executed at an apartment in The Lodge of Statesboro on Institute Street after multiple complaints were received concerning to drug use and sale and prostitution from the apartment.

Marie White-Gibson, 36, Robert Lee Light, 34, and Keysha Smith, 42, were all found in the one bedroom apartment with drug paraphernalia related to crack cocaine.

All three were arrested for possession and use of a drug related object and were served a notice not to return to the Lodge or face criminal trespass charges.

The apartment's tenant, Donald Williams, 58, arrived while the search was being conducted. He was arrested for maintaining a disorderly house.

All four were transported to the Bulloch County Jail.
