STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

A Statesboro man faces forgery and other charges after investigators said he used fake prescriptions to get drugs and sell them on the street.

According to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office, members of the Crime Suppression Team arrested Bravura Banks, 20, on March 27 as he tried to fill a forged prescription written on a stolen prescription pad.

Investigators tracked similar forged prescriptions all the way to Atlanta. Detectives there arrested three suspects as well.

Banks is free on bond, but faces charges of first degree forgery and fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance.
