LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Thunder Over Louisville is just days away. This is the 25th year for the event and organizers are promising an amazing show. This year's theme is Throwback Thunder, and will give those who attend a musical taste of the past 24 years.

"Soon as the music starts, it's music from the first show that we did at the fairgrounds and then it comes in progression," said Thunder producer Wayne Hettinger.

This year is also the return of the Blue Angels. If you want to see them Hettinger said they'll be the first ones out of the gate, so you need be in place at 3 p.m. when the air show starts.

To get a good seat, there are several options, including the historic Galt House Hotel.

"The package is great for the conservatory," said Kelly Gream from the Galt House. "It's $125 per person includes a delicious dinner buffet."

The price includes parking and a weather proof place to enjoy the show. The Galt House is also offering deals on rooms. If you reserve a room for Saturday night, you can stay Friday night for a penny.

Tumbleweed in Louisville is also offering a deal. Their indoor seating is sold out, but they do still have outdoor chairs available, which includes food and non-alcoholic beverages for $150 for adults and $100 for children 12 and under.

WAVE 3 News also checked with places on the other side of the river. Buckhead's and Rocky's in Jeffersonville will host tent events with indoor and outdoor seating. They are offering a table of four, each seat is $180. That includes food an non-alcoholic beverages.

At the Bristol is an amazing view.

"It's panoramic, right between the two bridges," said Scott Harper from the Bristol.

You can enjoy Thunder at the Bristol and have a seat. Incase the weather is bad, they will have tent to cover their outdoor space. A spot at the Bristol will cost you anywhere from $100 to $180, the price includes plenty of food.

"You can enjoy a really great selection of food, wall bar, prime rib, appetizers desserts, just everything you can imagine," said Harper.
