Savannah tour company holds nationwide talent search

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A nationwide talent search is underway for Old Savannah Tours. 

The company is looking for someone to play their new Paula Deen character and an extra Forrest Gump character. The winners of the competition will be expected to work in the Savannah area as a cast member of Old Savannah Tours. 

The position requirements include boarding trolleys throughout the day and entertaining guests with a short script relating to the character. Personal appearances at partner hotels and businesses, trade shows, civic organizations, schools and other locations will also be part of the job requirements. The average work week will be 20-30 hours.
