Glynn County murder suspect arrested

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -

An arrest has been made in a murder investigation in Glynn County. 

Officials say 37-year-old Jermaine Thomas was arrested by patrol officers of the Glynn County Police Department Wednesday night. 

Thomas has been charged with one count of murder in the death of Casey Nicole Mitchell. 

Mitchell, a 33-year-old mother of four, was shot inside a home on Blythe Island Drive in Brunswick early Wednesday morning. 

Police say they located Thomas' 2001 burgundy Ford Explorer Thursday morning.
