Family of 6 displaced by fire in Statesboro

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

Volunteer members of the Bulloch County Disaster Action Team responded to a mobile home fire Thursday in Statesboro. 

It happened a at home in the 100 block of Frink Rd., destroying the residence. 

A family of 6, including 4 adults and 2 children, were displaced as a result of the blaze.   

The Red Cross provided the family with comfort kits, funds for temporary shelter, food, clothing, shoes and storage containers for replacement needs. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
