Humane Society to hold spring drive-thru shot clinic

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah is set to host a vaccination clinic.

The spring drive-through, low-cost vaccination clinic will be on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Humane Society for Greater Savannah states that keeping your pet up-to-date on annual vaccinations that prevent highly contagiuos and potential deadly diseases is essential to your pet's health and well-being.

An annual rabies shot is required by law.

Each vaccination will cost $10. The following will be available: 

  • 1 Year Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Da2PV (Canine Distemper)
  • FVRCP (Feline Distemper)

Microchips will also be available at $20 each.

The clinic will be at the Chatham County Health Department parking lot at 1395 Eisenhower Drive, the line will close to new vehicles at 1:30 p.m. Drivers will enter on the Eisenhower Drive side.

To minimize everyone's wait time, no more than two pets per vehicle are allowed and all cats must be in carriers.
