Neighbors shocked after Seabrook couple found dead
Neighbor Gail Clark was shocked after the Chinns were found dead in their home on Thursday night.

Neighbors and friends
are mourning the loss of a Seabrook couple found dead inside their home on
Investigators believe at
this time that it was a murder-suicide between Briand Chinn, 81, and his wife
The Beaufort County
Sheriff's Office has not released any new information regarding the case, but
neighbors were shocked to hear the news of the passing of the couple.
It's a small, close knit
neighborhood off of Browns Island Road and neighbors said the Chinns were a British
couple that moved to the neighborhood close to a decade ago.
Neighbors said Jeanette
Chinn was a brilliant artist who had beautiful paintings inside their
They often saw her
husband, Brian Chinn, walking their dog around the neighborhood two, sometimes
three times a day.
Neighbors described both
of them as being very active in neighborhood gatherings and were caring,
supportive people to all who knew them.
People are having a hard
time dealing with the fact that they're no longer here.
"Both of them were
extremely intelligent, well spoken people and we fell in love," said neighbor
Gail Clark. "All of us kind of adopted them, they were so well loved and we're
going to miss them a lot, very sad day out here."
Sheriff's investigators are still waiting on autopsy results and they're
still trying to figure out what may have lead up to this murder suicide.
