CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

The Eisenhower location of the Chatham County Health Dept. will be giving free ear, dental and nutrition screenings for Chatham County School students.

The event will take place on April 30 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and no appointments are necessary.

Children are required to complete a vision, hearing and dental screening form, known as form 3300, when entering a Georgia school for the first time.

The nutrition category is a recent revision, and includes a height, weight and Body Mass Index measurement.  Any child enrolling in a Georgia school for the 2014-2015 school year will be required to fill out the new form 3300, which includes the new nutrition category.

For more information, call the Chatham County Health Dept. at 912.356.2441.
