TATTNALL CO., GA (WTOC) -

Chad Dasher will make his first court appearance Wednesday in Tattnall County.

The Tattnall County Jail escapee had been on the run for three months before being re-captured and arrested in the early morning hours Tuesday. His capture all started overnight Monday in Long County.

Investigators said Dasher went to a home in the Sandhill community of Long County, and that is where officials believe he stole a heavy duty truck.

According to witnesses, Dasher used the truck to strike his wife's car and push it into the home on Woods Lane just off Hwy 123 in Glennville.

"We believe he went there because his wife was there and he went not to confront her, but to let her know he knew she was there," said Long County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Sollosi.

From there, Dasher took off and hid at his family's pond house about ten miles away. Deputies and others surrounded him and captured him around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
