Bacon Cousins Murder Suspects Indicted

Three Claxton men accused of killing two cousins last year are facing several criminal charges. Tomorris Geiger, Terrance Smith and Charles Maddox were indicted by a grand jury today.

Investigators found the bodies of John and Dwayne Bacon buried behind a mobile home in July of 2003 in rural Evans County. The men had been missing since May. Geiger, Smith, and Maddox were arrested six months later.

They face 18 charges, including murder.
