SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

SCAD's Annual Sidewalk Arts Festival is one of the most popular springtime events in Forsyth Park.

Saturday was no different. The sidewalks were crowded with onlookers who watched the students, and alumni and local artists that took chalk-art to a whole new level. This is the 33rd year for the Sidewalk Arts Festival, and the 35th anniversary for SCAD. There were more than 800 squares of art to look at. It was great fun for seasoned and up and coming artists.

"Well, for me it took a few hours. It was really fun, because I got to choose a design and all the different types of colors that I wanted to use, and I could be as unique as I wanted to, so I could really do what I wanted," said Sayge Larocco, 7th grade.
