Metro police investigate three weekend shootings

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are investigating three shootings over the weekend, one of them fatal. 

Investigators say a man was shot and killed around 8:30 p.m. Saturday near the corner of 56th and Bull streets. They say they have reason to believe the shooting was not random. 

Just hours later, another man was shot early Sunday morning at 37th Street and Bee Road. Police say the man's injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. 

A third weekend shooting is also under investigation. It happened Saturday along Georgia Avenue. Officials say one person was taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
