POOLER, GA (WTOC) -

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal will be signing into law the 2015 fiscal year budget on Monday, and he will be doing so at three different locations around the Savannah area.

In February, the Georgia House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly to approve a $20.8 billion state budget plan for fiscal year 2015, which begins July 1.

The budget includes around $916 million of new revenue for education expenses and allocates $35 million to complete the state's portion of the $652 million Savannah harbor project. In addition, the budget committed an additional $300 million to education in an effort to end teacher furloughs and restore class schedules.

Governor Deal will begin Monday at 11:45 a.m. at JCB on Bamford Blvd in Pooler. Then, he'll head over to the Tybee Lighthouse and then to Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
