Reward Increased in Serial Rapist Case

A serial rapist remains on the loose in the Coastal Empire and police are stepping up their investigation. This is a sketch of the man police say raped at least four women. Today the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department announced an increase in the reward for any information leading to his arrest.

The Savannah Apartment Association added a thousand dollars to the $2,500 from CrimeStoppers

Police say, even though the rapist has not attacked anyone in the last few weeks, that is no reason for anyone to let their guard down. "I'm sure whoever this person is, the coward has gone underground for a little while," Capt. Bob Merriman said.

If you have any information on the serial rapist, call CrimeStoppers at 234.2020.
