    Police responded to several reports of a shooting early Sunday morning in a neighborhood near Park Avenue and East Silverlake Road. Officers found two men shot in the 1100 block of East 32nd Street just after 1:30 a.m. on May 28, according to a release from Tucson Police Department.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police arrested 26-year-old David Arahante on multiple charges after shooting another man in a confrontation at an eastside Circle K Wednesday afternoon.

Arahante had been fighting with two woman in the parking lot at 8702 E Speedway. A man approach them, attempting to assist the women, according to TPD PIO Sgt. Chris Widmer.

It was then that Arahante shot the man in the arm. Arahante and the two women fled the scene. One of the women was found and taken in for questioning shortly after.

Arahante was arrested after he called 9-1-1 near Wrightstown and Pantano, saying he had been assaulted. Authorities recognized him from the earlier incident and arrested him.

He is being charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault, 1 count of discharging a weapon within city limits and 1 count of prohibited possession. Arahante has a prior felony.

The gun was recovered at a residence. 

Police are still searching for the other woman involved in the incident. She is believed to be Alahante's girlfriend.
