BSCO looking for suspects in Kay Jewelers armed robbery

BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is searching for the individuals who robbed Kay Jewelers at Tanger 1 on Wednesday, May 7.

Two black males entered the store wearing white shirts, dark pants and both carried back packs.

The men were wearing gloves and holding a weapon. One suspect is described as being between 21 to 26 years of age, bald, approximately 6' 4" and weighed 170 pounds.

The second man is described as being between 35 and 40 years of age, approximately 5' 8" tall and weighed 180 pounds.

After ordering the manager to open two jewelry cases and emptying the property into the backpacks, the employees were ordered to the back room and secured with duct tape.

The suspects took the employees phones and the keys to the manager's company vehicle. After freeing themselves and calling for assistance, it was discovered that the suspects had taken the manager's vehicle, a silver 2012 Chevy Cruze with a South Carolina tag HSP 243.
