SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Georgia Senate Candidate, Michelle Nunn, was in Savannah on Sunday, visiting with government volunteers.

The group spent some time calling voters and supporters, urging them to get out and vote on Tuesday. Nunn says every single vote does make a difference.

"You know, I think some people may be standing on the sidelines, and they are not sure if their vote counts, but their vote counts a lot, and that' is what we are reminding people. This election is going to have significant consequences. Who is sent to Washington really matters; it is going to change. Issues; everything from 'do we raise the minimum wage and create a livable wage,' to, you know, 'do we actually tackle the issues like our long term debt," said Michelle Nunn, Candidate for U.S. Senate.

Other Georgia Senate hopefuls were out and about this weekend. David Perdue was in Atlanta. Phil Gingrey worked the phones with his family and volunteers. Karen Handel appeared on a radio talk show this afternoon. And, Representative, Jack Kingston, is preparing for events on Monday, after a rainstorm forced cancellation of a picnic with voters Sunday.
