U.S. Representative Jack Kingston was right here at home in Savannah on Monday, making his last push in hopes of becoming the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate.
Kingston is trying to distinguish himself in the pack of Republicans running for the seat as a staunch conservative who can win in a general election against likely Democratic nominee Michelle Nunn.
"I have a lot of electability with swing voters, and we get some Democratic voters," said Kingston. "And you know, I know the issues. I know the military. I know agriculture. I know the port, and that's important to voters."
