Man arrested for fatal Toombs Co. wreck

TOOMBS CO., GA (WTOC) -

A man has been arrested after a fatal wreck that claimed the lives of two Toombs County sisters in February.

According to Toombs County Sheriff Alvie Kight, 45-year-old James Earl Brown III of Vidalia, was arrested Thursday on charges stemming from an accident that occurred on U. S. 1.

Amber Lee Mosley and Mary Beth Mosley were killed when their collided with the log truck.

Amber was a senior and Beth was a sophomore. They were both attending Toombs County High.

Brown is being charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, DUI, and several other charges.

He will appear before a judge for a bond hearing at a later date.
