Log truck driver denied bond in deadly Toombs County accident

TOOMBS CO., GA (WTOC) -

A judge in Toombs County has denied bond for James Earl Brown, III, the log truck driver charged with first degree vehicular manslaughter in the death of two Toombs County sisters.

Amber Lee Mosley and Mary Beth Mosley were killed in February when their car crashed into a jackknifing log truck on U.S. Highway 1. Amber Mosley was a senior and Beth Mosley was a sophomore at Toombs County High.

Brown now waits for a superior court request.
