Statesboro standoff situation resolved; Harville Rd back open

Posted: Updated:
STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

Authorities in Bulloch County ended up in a standoff situation in Statesboro Thursday morning.

Officials say officers were responding to a home to question someone about a report that had been filed earlier in the week. They say a male inside the home went to the back of the house and then they heard a gunshot.

Officials say they have resolved the situation with one arrest and no injuries.

Police had Harville Road at GA 67 blocked for some time, but it has since reopened.

WTOC's Dal Cannady was at the scene during the standoff and will have more details about exactly what happened to come.
