A recount has been called in the race for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. House First Congressional District.
The three candidates took almost exactly one third of the vote on election night.
Just 21 ballots separate frontrunner Amy Tavio from Brian Reese. Each took 34 percent of the vote. Marc Smith came in third, 288 votes behind Reese.
Once the recount is finished and the election is officially certified, the top two candidates will face off in a runoff on July 22.
