ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) -

A Rock Hill man has been arrested after police say he beat a man in the head with a baseball bat after he was kicked out of a store earlier in the evening.

Rock Hill Police say Brady Harris attacked an employee at Park Grocery along the 700-block of East Main Street late Friday night.

Harris had reportedly been at the store earlier in the evening and had been "causing problems" so the owner threw him out.

Police say Harris came back around 10 p.m. and hit a 36-year-old employee in the head with a baseball bat as he was getting into his car to leave work.

Harris ran away and the man was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center-Main, in Charlotte, for treatment.

Officers were able to arrest Harris on Saturday and he was charged with attempted murder. The baseball bat was found at his house.
