SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is holding a Family Emergency Preparedness Expo from now until 2 p.m. Wednesday at its Savannah District Headquarters on York Street in downtown Savannah.

As a result, traffic on York Street will be blocked between Barnard and Whitaker streets during the event.

The expo will feature a demonstration of the Chatham County Mobile Emergency Operations Center, along with the American Red Cross and 15 other displays and demonstrations, all taking place outdoors.

Officials say traffic will return to normal after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
