Victim identified in fatal Huntsville wreck

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Police have identified the man killed in a single-vehicle wreck early Friday morning.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Adventist Boulevard and Sparkman Drive. Authorities said 34-year-old Donald Peoples was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said a passerby called in the wreck around 3:45 a.m.

According to investigators, Peoples was going west on Adventist Boulevard when the vehicle he was in left the roadway and hit a light pole. 

Authorities said the investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
