SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

WalMart shoppers got a special treat on Friday when they got a chance to donate to the Children's Miracle Network.

The Chatham County Sheriff's Dept. arrested the marketing and management team and held them in a makeshift jail for two hours.

The associates got very creative, using horns and megaphones to draw attention and bring in money for the Children's Hospital at Memorial.

"Just to see a child be able to be helped through the donations that WalMart's able to provide is such an overwhelming thing for all of the associates as well as everyone in the community," said WalMart Manager David Kemp.

Kemp is pleased with their efforts on Friday. Within two hours, they raised $267 for the hospital.

A special thank you to WalMart, who has been a long time partner with the Children's Miracle Network and Hospital for more than 20 years.
