Man no longer wanted for questioning in Savannah homicide case

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department released an update Monday morning concerning a deadly shooting investigation in Savannah. 

Officials say 37-year-old Christopher Heyward has been interviewed by detectives and is no longer wanted for questioning in connection with the June 8 shooting of 48-year-old Terrance Felder. 

Felder was found on East 42nd Street suffering from a gunshot wound. He was then taken to a hospital where he died. 

The shooting investigation and search for the shooter continues.
