Restaurant Donates to Toys for Tots

A holiday tradition is getting a little help thanks to some hungry customers. Ten percent of the proceeds from every meal sold at Savannah's Fairmont Restaurant today is going to the Toys for Tots program. The United States Marine Corps sponsors it.

The corps is delighted by the contribution. "Whatever we get, we're always going to be proud of," said Sgt. Marcus Jones. "It doesn't make a difference, every contribution is something, so whatever they give is what we'll have."

Not only is the Fairmont giving donations to Toys for Tots, but they're also going to be serving as a drop-off point for contributions throughout the holiday season.
