Richmond police seek information on injured man

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The Richmond Police Department is currently seeking information from anyone who may have seen a man who was found injured last Friday morning.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on June 13, Hussein Salih was found at the intersection of Cedar and East Marshall streets suffering from a significant head injury. He was transported to VCU Medical Center.

Police said Salih, 23, is six feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. Detectives are seeking information from those who had seen or interacted with him on the evening and morning in question.

According to authorities, Salih visited several businesses in Shockoe Bottom before walking from the area and being found injured. 

Police said Salih is still hospitalized and has not been able to assist detectives, which is why assistance from the public is needed.
