Beaufort man wanted in home invasion surrenders to police

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

A Beaufort man wanted in connection with a home invasion was arrested on Wednesday.  

Cornelius Watson, Jr., 24, surrendered himself to deputies. He was wanted for first degree burglary, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime for the home invasion that occurred on Tuesday at 103 4 Peacock Run.

Investigators have identified and issued warrants for the other suspects allegedly involved in the home invasion: Terral Vincent Thompson, 24, Steven Jamal Chisholm, 26, and Travis O'Neil Jenkins, 28, are also wanted on identical charges.

Three other incidents occurred on Tuesday that deputies all believe to be related and involving the same suspects remains under investigation. Additional charges and/or arrests are anticipated as investigators piece together the details of another home invasion on Shanklin Road and two shooting incidents that occurred in the areas of Joe Frazier Road and Carolina Village Circle.
