Rantankerous [ran-tank'uhr-us] (adjective) - A combination of rant [to speak in a wild or extravagant manner] and cantankerous [contentious, disagreeable]. The word is the only suitable description for the arguments between Brian "What We Learned" Tynes and George "Hot Reads" Jones.

(RNN) – If you don't know wSB from TMZ, you're in the right place.

One of those is a baseball statistic and the other is a celebrity news web site. The legitimacy of both is debatable.

In this week's discussion, George jumps on the sabermetric bandwagon and tries to argue the merits of such nonsensical acronyms as UZR, wOBA, BABIP and OOPS, which are all baseball statistics.

That doesn't sit well with Brian, who is convinced "this entire sabermetrics thing is one giant OOPS."

The gauntlet is thrown when the discussion turns into alphabet soup with a rousing game of "Is this a real baseball stat?" Among the contenders are IDL, RFM and DRS. See how well you do against the "expert."

In this week's odd news segment, everyone's favorite superhero "Florida Man" makes a guest appearance with a deviant way to dispose of a perfectly good batch of a Southern foodstuff. George also gives a musical shoutout to Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Al Green, who met a similar fate.
