Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oysterhouse now on the market

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Uncle Bubba's Seafood and Oysterhouse is now on the market after abruptly closing up shop a couple of months ago.

The restaurant, co-owned by Paula Deen and her brother Bubba Heirs, closed in April without any advance notice to employees, and it is now being sold for nearly $4 million.

The 10,000 square foot property is listed on the website of commercial real estate firm Gilbert and Ezelle. The listing price is $3.95 million.

According to the restaurant's representatives, Heirs decided to close down the restaurant to explore other options for the waterfront property on which the restaurant is located.
