SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A fundraiser was held for Adrianna Flowers and her son Owen Rivers on Saturday, June 28th from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Hooters of Savannah. The mother and son were involved in a head on collision on June 6th on Ga. 17 between Jabez Jones and Roebling Roads killing 4 year old Owen.

Family friend Amber Gorlesky talked about Owen saying,"He was amazing, he was always smiling, we got Spiderman stuff everywhere because it was his favorite but he was all boy. He was always into something, he just had that boy look in his eye."

Representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving were also in attendance because they don't want this to happen to another child.

The event included a car wash for donation only. A bounce house and dunk tank were also present.

The driver of the car that collided into Adrianna and Owen is 38 year old Robert Waugh who remains in fair condition at Memorial University Medical Center.
