Wanted drug fugitive from Savannah captured after 18 months on the run

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

After being on the run for 18 months for state and federal drug violations, Savannah man, Michael Lavon Bostic, age 34 was captured on Friday, June 27th around 9:00 p.m.

He was located by police at West 31st and Montgomery Streets.

Bostic was wanted by the Savannah Chatham Counter Narcotics Team on charges of attempt/conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act in an indictment issued on November 28th, 2012 in Savannah, Georgia.

Bostic was also wanted by the DEA for charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, 280 grams or more of crack cocaine, and 50 kilograms or more of marijuana.
