WTOC's Lynda Figueredo to host fundraising events for Meals on Wheels

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Local celebrities will soon be dancing to help local non-profits in the Chatham Orthopedics Ballroom Extravaganza.

WTOC's Lynda Figueredo will serve as a participant helping to raise money for Senior Citizen's Inc as well as the Meals on Wheels Program. In an effort to reach her goal of $10,000, she will be hosting two separate events during the month of July.

On July 12th, community members are asked to come enjoy The Ageless Fitness Day. Participants will be charged $15 and have access to five different classes. Those classes include circuit, zumba, ballroom dance and yoga.

During this event a car wash will also be hosted by the Bible Baptist Football Team. This event will take place at The World of Fitness on Victory Drive. All of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Meals on Wheels Program.

The second event will be a Senior Prom hosted on July 31st at Bryson Hall. Tickets for this event are $25 and participants will have the opportunity to dance the night away, enjoy an open bar, and take prom photos. Sonny Dixon will serve as the emcee for this event. The senior prom will help raise money for seniors in the surrounding area.
