AAA/Bud Light offer Tow to Go during Fourth of July holiday in Georgia. The Tow to Go Program offers the following: Confidential local ride within a 10-mile radius to a safe location; Service is provided in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee; Free and available to both AAA members and non-members; The AAA tow truck takes the vehicle and the driver home.

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office and Savannah Chatham Metro Police Department says they have plans to increase traffic patrols during the Independence Day holiday weekend. MORE INFO: Click here

The American Red Cross is urging eligible donors to make appointments to donate during the 4th of July holiday period. Visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to find a nearby blood donation opportunity or to schedule an appointment. 


CAT offers Fireworks Shuttle on July 4th
For the very first time, Chatham Area Transit is offering a non-stop Fireworks Shuttle from the Savannah Mall to the Joe Murray Rivers Jr. Intermodal Transit Center on Friday, July 4. Shuttle service will begin from the Savannah Mall bus stop, near the food court at 6:30 pm, with the last shuttle leaving for the fireworks at 8:30 pm. The CAT Fireworks Shuttle will operate every 30 minutes. The River Street fireworks is scheduled for 9-9:30 pm. The return service for the shuttle will begin at the Transit Center at 10 pm upon completion of the fireworks. The last Fireworks Shuttle will leave at 11 pm. The fare for the Fireworks Shuttle is $3 roundtrip and exact fare is required. For more information call 912.233.5767 or click here.

River Street Fourth of July Celebration – FREE!
Celebrate the fourth all weekend long along Savannah's historic River Street. Enjoy a 3-day festival of arts and crafts, local entertainment, live music, food and fun for the entire family. Also, make sure to grab a good spot early to watch the annual Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday at 9 p.m.

Independence Day Celebration at Hunter Army Airfield
All are invited to join the 3rd Infantry Division for one of the best fireworks shows around. This event is free and open to the public.

Sand Gnats Fireworks
Savannah Sand Gnats vs. Charleston Riverdogs - Cost is $8 for adults; military, seniors and children 4-12 are $5; and children 3-and-under are free.

I Pledge for Ice Cream at Leopold's 
All children ages 12 and under who can recite the Pledge of Allegiance from memory will get a free child's scoop of their choice in a cup, cake or sugar cone. Leopold's will hold additional "I Pledge for Ice Cream" events each Monday in July.
