The gauntlet has been thrown and the gloves are off. The Jacksonville Jaguars put up a billboard promoting their new video board, while at the same time taunting the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans for their 'tiny' boards.

According to Jaguars.com, the stadium's new video board will measure 60 feet tall by by a whopping 362 feet wide - longer than a football field. The gigantic video board provides 21,720 square feet of display space. By comparison, the video board at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington is only 160 feet long. Meanwhile, the video board at NRG Field in Houston measures in at 277 feet.

The new video boards at EverBank Field will be the largest of their kind in the world. The record was previously held by "Big Hoss TV," the video display at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, which bathes racegoers in light from 20,633 square feet of video screen.

The real question is whether or not the massive video board will improve the Jaguars' football team, which finished the 2013 season with a record of 4-12.

The Cowboys and Texans will both have their chance to get back at the Jaguars this season. The Cowboys and Jaguars square off in London on November 9, while the Texans have home and away games against the Jaguars on December 7 and December 28.
