(WMC) - Memphis is just days away from the grand re-opening of the Hard Rock Café at its new location.

The restaurant moved down the street and into the historic Lansky Brothers Building, located at 126 Beale Street.

"We wanted to invite some folks down to give them a sneak peek at this brand New Hard Rock here on Beale Street," said Hard Rock Café Historian Jeff Nolan.

The 108 year old structure is the new home of the restaurant, and according to a tour guide, it is a turned up version compared to the old one.

Images of Elvis Presley & Jimmy Hendrix line the ceiling of the new space. Hand-written lyrics by Johnny Cash and even a bar filled with the spirit of legends & spirits to quench a customer's thirst can only be seen here at the new Hard Rock Café.

"It gave us an opportunity to display some new pieces of history and refresh the way we display some pieces of history we've always had in Memphis," said Nolan.

The new cafe is part of a multi-million dollar development project and home to a Lansky Brothers retail store. The new Memphis Music Hall of Fame will also be here.

"It pays tribute not only to Elvis, but to the history of the building and the legacy of the Lansky Brothers, which is super important," said Nolan.

Construction is still underway, but the New Hard Rock Cafe is set to re-open its doors July 3.

"We've been part of the community here for a very long time. This just allows us to up the ante of what we do here in Memphis," added Nolan.
